Greetings Supporters and Survivors,
Reconstruction of a Survivor (ROS) is an eight year old non-profit organization that provides curriculum focused support groups for women with breast cancer, from diagnosis and beyond. Additionally, we serve as an on-call resource for newly diagnosed women in Houston and surrounding areas.
There are many challenges when persons are diagnosed with breast cancer. We help to fill in the gap toward emotional, spiritual, and physical healing. Some patients encounter financial challenges and need short-term temporary assistance with expenses such as parking fees, numerous co-pays, rental assistance, groceries, etc. ROS is able to provide financial assistance to those women, who are in active treatment, as part of our breast cancer support program and Janet Ely Angels of Assistance Fund.
We invite you to join us on September 12, 2015 at Ouisie’s Table for the Pink Petals and Pearls Luncheon. This Mothers and Daughters Cancer Survivor Luncheon will not only recognize some amazing women, but also raise funds to help ROS continue to offer support and resources to these women.
